Deadline for 3rd Convocation Registration Extended
Keeping in view the heavy traffic on the online registration portal,
the registration deadline for the 3rd Convocation has been extended from06-12-2025 to 09-12-2025
It is hereby informed to all graduates of the passing years 2022 and 2023 that the 3rd Convocation of Ghazi University,
Dera Ghazi Khan is scheduled to be held on 11 December 2025. All interested graduates are directed to register themselves through
the University web portal (convocation.gudgk.edu.pk) on or before 06 December 2025.
The registration fee is Rs. 5,000/- per degree per candidate.
It is further clarified that candidates who do not register by the due date will not be permitted to enter the convocation venue.
Unregistered graduates may collect their degrees only after the 3rd Convocation by depositing Rs. 5,000/- into the University account.
No degree shall be issued or dispatched free of cost to any unregistered graduate.

The provisional list of Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalists from the graduating sessions
2022 and 2023 has been uploaded for information.
The 3rd Convocation of Ghazi University is scheduled to be held during the
2nd week of December, 2025.
In case of any discrepancy or query, only the concerned graduate/medalist may contact the
Office of the Controller of Examinations up to
30-11-2025.
After the given deadline, no representation or claim shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Follow the steps below to complete your convocation registration.
Check your name in the provisional list of Postgraduate and Undergraduate students from the graduating sessions 2022 and 2023.
Note: If you do not receive the email, check your Junk/Spam folder.

A: General attendance is not permitted. However, one family member of each medalist is allowed to attend the convocation, and no registration fee will be charged for that guest.
A: The convocation is scheduled for 11 December 2025, and the ceremony will commence at 09:00 AM.
A: No The medal and degree will only be awarded to the candidate in person. Family members are not authorized to receive these items on behalf of the candidate. However, after the convocation, the concerned candidates may collect their degrees/medals in person from the office of the Controller of Examinations upon depositing Rs. 5,000 into the University account or by presenting the registration receipt of the 3rd Convocation.
A: Gowns will be available for collection on 09 December 2025 and also on 10 December 2025 (the day of rehearsal).
A: InshaโAllah, the rehearsal will be held on 10 December 2025 at 10:00 a.m
A: No. Degrees will not be issued or dispatched free of cost to any graduate who has not registered for the convocation. A fee of Rs. 5,000/- will be applicable for obtaining the degree after the convocation.
A: No need to pay any fee. Since you already have your degree, you simply need to bring the following items to the event: Your Original Degree. Receive the Entry Pass from the reception desk on the day of the rehearsal.
A: All students are required to collect their academic gown either one day before the rehearsal (December 09, 2025) or on the day of rehearsals (December 10, 2025), as gowns will not be issued on the Convocation day (December 11, 2025).
To collect the gown, a total payment of Rs. 1,300 must be made at the time of collection, which includes a Rs. 300 gown rental fee
and a Rs. 1,000 refundable security deposit.The security deposit will be refunded upon returning the gown by 3:00 PM on December 11, 2025.
Anyone may collect the gown on your behalf by paying the required amount.
Please note that the Convocation ceremony will begin strictly at 9:00 AM, and students who fail to collect their gown during rehearsals or arrive without a gown on the event day will not be permitted to participate.
